The Cleveland Cavaliers have kept the NBA finals series alive with a 112-97 win over the Golden State Warriors.

Trailing 3-1 in the best of seven series, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving dominated for the Cavs, as they ran rampant at Oracle Arena.

LeBron finished with 41 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists, while Irving also scored 41 points and had six assists and three rebounds.

Klay Thompson top scored for the Warriors with 37 points, while Steph Curry managed 25.

IN what looks to be a huge blow for the Boomers heading into the Rio Olympics, Australian centre Andrew Bogut suffered what appears to be a serious knee injury early in the third quarter and was assisted off the court in obvious discomfort.

Bogut jumped up for a block, before Cleveland's J.R . Smith landed awkwardly on Bogut's knee.

With the Warriors now leading the series 3-2, Game six is in Cleveland on Friday morning AEST.
