UFC 200 has officially booked two huge fights at the top of the card as Conor McGregor will face Nate Diaz in the main event and Frankie Edgar battles Jose Aldo for the interim featherweight title on July 9 (July 10 Australian time) in Las Vegas.

The announcement was made via “UFC Tonight” on Wednesday. The rematch will also take place at 170 pounds (welterweight).

The long rumored rematch between McGregor and Diaz takes place just a few months after their first fight broke pay-per-view records at UFC 196 in early March.

Diaz submitted McGregor with a second round rear naked choke to hand the Irishman his first loss in the UFC.
