Australian NFL star and Seattle Seahawks rookie Michael Dickson has been recoginsed for his outstanding debut season, earning a spot in NFL.com's All-Rookie team.

The side was put together by Around the League writer Chris Wesseling, who included Dickson in the side on the back of his league-best net average of 44.2 yards this season.

The fifth-round draft selection is also ranked second among punters in fan votes for the 2019 Pro Bowl, and Wesseling had this to say on Dickson's campaign.

Armed with an arsenal of dropkicks, knuckleballs, pop-ups, coffin-corners and bold fakes, Dickson is already the most fun punter in the league.

To be clear, this isn't a case of style over substance. The former Aussie rules star leads all punters with a net average of 44.2 yards this season.

It might not be long before he's rivaling perennial Rams All-Pro Johnny Hekker as the position's gold standard.
