Australian Joe Ingles has re-signed with the Utah Jazz, signing a four-year, $US52 million deal with the franchise.

Ingles, who joined the Jazz in 2014, said it was an easy decision to re-sign.

“I wanted to be in Utah, no matter what,” Ingles said.

“If you have every All-Star in the world or no All-Stars in the world. It's the place that's gotten me to where I am, it's gotten me to be the player I am today.

"If we were a 10-win team or an 80-win team, I feel like Utah is the place for me to be good and really help the team.

“It's exciting, I'm really excited for the season and to get back there and get started.”

The 29-year-old was the only Jazz player to play in all 82 regular season games last season. Ingles led the team for assists in 20 games last season and recorded the best three-point percentage (.441) by a Utah player since Kyle Korver in 2009-10.
