The youngest ever MVP winner Derrick Rose played his 500th game on the 24th of October for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Rose came off the bench and didn’t disappoint as he hit 16 points, going 2-3 from deep as well as five assists and three rebounds. It was his fourth straight game with double digit scoring but unfortunately the team lost to the Toronto Raptors.

Rose averages 18.9 points per game throughout his whole career.

Major injuries have hurt Rose’s career but it seems as though he is finding some form in Minnesota. He played nine regular season games and five playoff games last year but after having a full off season that didnt consist of rehab, we are currently seeing glimpses of the old Rose.

Rose is averaging 15 points and five assists per game whilst coming off the bench.

Last season Rose got traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers and got cut by the Jazz, and there was a high possibility Rose wasn’t going to play game 500 but now it looks like the 30-year-old is well on his way to 600.
